What innovators say about me...
Micah is one of the most ambitious, driven designers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Originally, Micah joined my team as a UX designer. Though he did excellent work on his projects, including the MVP of our onboarding and Truist Assist integration, he really shined with our Reality Lab. Micah's expertise and passion were instrumental in establishing our Reality Lab where we're now able to explore AR/VR solutions in-house. As you might imagine, bringing an AR/VR innovation space into a bank isn't exactly easy but Micah was diligent with his communications throughout the bank, up and down the chain. Through his contagious excitement, collaborative mindset, and ability to handle all of the technical parts, Micah has kept the momentum going. Though I miss having him on my team, it's been amazing to see him take off with our Reality Lab. I can't wait to see where he takes us! |
Micah has been terrific in creating interaction models with beta developers here at Meta. He has also completed a VR nanodegree, Blender course and has began contributing to our tech / art pipeline. He has been instrumental in leading the initiative to write our Spatial Interface design principles by coordinating every team here and getting the answers to complex questions. He has a keen intuition for spatial computing and creating interaction models for a new paradigm. One great asset he possesses is the ability to take critique from our design team, engineers, researchers and customers to continue to iterating UX. He adapts, has initiative and a great attitude. |

Micah has a blazing curiosity for visual perception and how it heightens cognitive processes relating to User Interfaces. At Space-Time Insight he has made a strong impact on our Geo-Spatial Visualizations and its underlying software UI. He is constantly designing Augmented Reality Interfaces for fun as he researches Human Computer Interaction. He has a heart for research and constantly tries to quantify his findings in relevant KPIs for business leaders. He shows the right mixture between research and hands on work. Micah is a very curious person with an inquisitive mind that goes far beyond UI design. |
"Two things make Micah exceptional UX designer: his spirit of inquiry, and his positive attitude. Now every UX designer asks questions, but Micah asks, then refines, asks, and asks again. What results is a better, more beautiful question. This skill is invaluable. And what is clear to everyone, is his positive attitude. Not only is he a pleasure to work with, but you can see that it doesn't bother him at all when a user tests his work and he needs to completely change it. He's gonna be a rock-star in the UX world." - Kevyn Horton |
