Design System Components
Components Overview
Gaze Hover Off State
Digital twins have no affordance until they are moved into the user's Field of View (FoV) First Person 'Static' Typography
Text placed on the person can be smaller and 2 dimensional since the angle of the text plane can rotate as the person rotates the controller or their head. Navigation: Raycasted Unselected State
Users are prompted with what they need to do in the right context rather than given cumbersome tutorials. Teleportation was used rather than constant movement or physical waling in order to increase familiarity and decrease motion uneasiness. |
Gaze Hover On State
Digital twins have no affordance until they are moved into the user's Field of View (FoV) World 'Dynamic' Typography
Text placed at further distances and in shared settings can rotate so as to periodically be in full view from any viewing point tangential to the volumetric plane. Navigation: Raycasted Selected State
Users are prompted with what they need to do in the right context rather than given cumbersome tutorials. |
Color Wheel
The palette contains different colored spheres to represent music individual instruments with audible tracks. For this app we manually assigned each instrument to a sphere. |
Canvas
The canvas included the entire room, furniture and surreal objects such as birds of paradise and elephants. We even put window frames in the sky. |
